Musculoskeletal pain is caused by an injury to your muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, joints, bursae, and/or bones.  Injuries can be caused by overuse with daily activities and trauma caused by falls, car accidents, sprains, strains, etc.   Pain is the most common symptom.  Musculoskeletal pain can be short lived or more chronic and long-lasting.  It can also be confined to a small area or be more widespread.  The pain is best relieved by treating the source of pain.  Common musculoskeletal conditions include:
