Amy at Restore Your Core Physical Therapy has been nothing short of a miracle-worker for my entire family. I started seeing her for idiopathic pelvic, hip, and low back pain in 2020 after being referred to her by my brother, who had long suffered with chronic pelvic pain for years and finally found relief after seeing Amy. I was hesitant to go to another provider for my pain because for nearly 20-years I was completely written off by doctor after doctor. I had been seeing a chiropractor for 3-years prior to seeing Amy and all he was able to do was offer some short-term relief through decompression of my spine, but the chronic pain persisted. When I finally went in to see Amy at RYC, we discussed all of my past issues and all of my trauma–both emotional and physical. She was so incredibly kind and understanding and explained to me the process of what would go into the diagnosis and treatment of my pain. The amount of sensitivity she provided in this regard was amazing. Every aspect of what to expect from our visits was meticulously explained and I felt completely at ease with her providing my diagnosis and treatment plan. Within just one visit with Amy I had some closure on possible causes for my pain and even quite a bit of relief from it. After a couple more sessions, she was really able to hone in on the epicenter of my problems and from there we developed an extremely effective treatment plan. Now, with regular maintenance, and by following her advice for home care (ie. stretching, proper lifting, posture, etc.), I finally feel like I have my life back! No longer am I dealing with constant, nagging pain that impedes my ability to live; rather, I understand my body and I can immediately go about sorting it out without delay or disruption to my daily life. Last year, she began seeing my husband after he pulled his groin, as well. He could barely even walk and had trouble getting into and out of his vehicle, but within two sessions with Amy he was pain-free and back to his normal self. Then this year I brought my oldest son to see her. He suffered from birth trauma that left him so mal-aligned that I had literally never seen his heels touch the ground. He could only walk on his tiptoes and he had a very strange gait. He also dealt with chronic and debilitating back and neck pain that no chiropractor was ever able to alleviate. After just one session with Amy, I saw my son’s heels meet the ground for the first time in his whole 17-years of life! I was brought to tears! When I say Amy is nothing short of a miracle-worker, I mean it. What she does as a healer is hard to explain or even comprehend, and I have given countless doctors her information so they can confidently recommend their patients to her, as well. I also think she is just an amazing, kind soul. I feel immensely blessed to have her as my medical provider, and after years of treatment and growth at the hands of this truly amazing woman, I would also gladly call her my friend. If you are suffering from any kind of pelvic pain or issues, I would without a shadow of a doubt or any hesitation recommend any of the ladies at Restore Your Core Physical Therapy. They have all been meticulously vetted by Amy, and a professional of her caliber only hires and works with the best-of-the-best. So, don’t keep suffering in pain and doubt! Call or email Restore Your Core Physical Therapy Physical Therapy and get your life back! That’s what I did, and my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. Thanks, Amy and Restore Your Core Physical Therapy Physical Therapy!
I’ve been coming here for 2 years after I learned pelvic floor therapy could help with my painful periods, among other related problems, and I am so incredibly grateful for this practice. Every provider I’ve worked with has treated me with the utmost kindness and respect while educating me about my body, working to create a personalized treatment plan to manage and minimize my symptoms, and answering the seemingly limitless questions I come up with. I was initially anxious to even try this treatment route because I’ve had some very disheartening experiences with other women’s care physicians, but the entire experience has been so validating and liberating. At 19, I was embarrassed to have the problems I was having and Restore Your Core Physical Therapy physicians took me seriously and believed me, assured me I wasn’t experiencing anything especially unusual, but also immediately provided reassurance that treatment could help and delivered the reassurance with such confidence I couldn’t help but give it a try. I’m so glad I did. At 22, my period pain and possible endometriosis symptoms are so much more manageable and when I do have issues I now have the tools and techniques at my disposal to quickly address and remedy my discomfort, and on the occasions when I’m not sure what to do, the physicians here are quick to respond to my emails with any assistance or modifications I might need. I’ve been able to reduce the frequency of my appointments significantly without sacrificing any of the progress I’ve made because they don’t just do a quick fix, they also teach you how to help yourself. I would give 10 stars if I could, and I recommend anyone considering it to absolutely give this practice a chance. It’s worth it.
