Dr. Julie Jerrell

PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

I grew up in New Hampshire, though I have strong Indiana roots through my parents. I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. I have worked in orthopedic clinics in Florida, North Carolina, and Indiana.

I hold certifications in ASTYM, dry needling, ACL prevention, and Functional Movement Screen, and I have extensive clinical and coaching experience working with patients of all ages and activity levels.

Conditions I Enjoy Treating

I treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions throughout the body, from the neck and shoulder to the ankle and foot. I also work closely with our other physical therapists to address multiple areas of pain and impairment, allowing us to take a more comprehensive approach to patient care.

My goal is to help patients improve the management of both acute and chronic pain, regain confidence with everyday functional tasks, and return to the exercises and activities they enjoy.

Why I Love Working at Restore Your Core PT

I love working here because I enjoy the approach we take to assessing the full musculoskeletal system.

Outside the Clinic

When I am not working, you will most likely find me on the field coaching as the head coach of the Bishop Chatard lacrosse program. I love coaching because it allows me to empower athletes to push themselves to levels of competition they did not know they had, and I bring that same mindset into my clinical practice. I also enjoy traveling and supporting my alma mater, Purdue, in all athletics.

My Core Values

I value compassion and self-advocacy, and I love to learn!
