Dr. Brooke Amin

PT, DPT, CFPHT

Physical Therapist

I grew up in Indianapolis, IN and attended Indiana University Bloomington, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with minors in Psychology, Fitness Instruction, and Medical Sciences. I went on to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, where I developed a strong interest in helping patients better understand their bodies and feel confident in their movement. After graduating, I began my career as an outpatient physical therapist in Indianapolis, where I gained experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic, balance, and pelvic health conditions.

I am a licensed and board-certified physical therapist with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. I have specialized training in pelvic health through FYZICAL College, as well as additional training in balance disorders and vertigo. My clinical experience includes pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary and bowel concerns, pelvic pain, postpartum rehabilitation, birth prep, pelvic organ prolapse, core and diastasis-related concerns, and musculoskeletal conditions affecting the pelvis, hips, and low back.

I am a physical therapist specializing in pelvic health. I work with patients across a wide range of pelvic floor concerns and take an individualized approach to evaluation and treatment. I enjoy looking at the whole picture—including the pelvic floor, core, hips, spine, breathing, movement patterns, and daily activities—to understand how different factors may be contributing to a patient’s symptoms.

Conditions I Enjoy Treating

I particularly enjoy treating urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, postpartum and pregnancy-related concerns, birth preparation, diastasis and core dysfunction, and bowel and GI-related pelvic floor concerns. I also enjoy treating the orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions that often overlap with pelvic health, including low back, SI joint, hip, and core-related dysfunction.

I want to help patients stop feeling like they have to simply “live with” pelvic floor symptoms. Issues such as leaking, pelvic pain, pressure, bowel or bladder changes, and postpartum symptoms can have a significant impact on confidence and quality of life, yet many people are never taught that these concerns can be evaluated and treated. My goal is to help patients understand what is happening in their bodies and give them practical tools to feel stronger, more comfortable, and more confident in their everyday lives.

Why I Love Working at Restore Your Core PT

I love that Restore Your Core allows me to focus on pelvic health while providing patients with individualized, one-on-one care. I enjoy that we all share the common goal of getting to the root of the dysfunction, not merely treating the surface-level symptoms. I appreciate having the opportunity to spend time listening to each patient’s story, understand the concerns that brought them in, and work together toward goals that are meaningful to them. I also value being part of a team that recognizes the importance of pelvic health and is committed to helping patients feel comfortable, educated, and supported throughout their care.

Outside the Clinic

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time with my family and friends, working on projects around my home, and enjoying time with my husband, Jai, and our dog, Finn. I also enjoy traveling, trying new things, and finding ways to stay active and balanced outside of the clinic. I am a very big sports fan. I enjoy watching the Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Fever, IU Basketball and Football, and the New York Yankees.

My Core Values

I value kindness, connection, and always continuing to learn and grow. I try to treat people with empathy and make sure they feel heard, supported, and comfortable being themselves. I also value lifelong learning and strive to continue growing as a clinician so I can provide thoughtful, individualized care to every patient.
